Knowledge, Skills And Experience Required

Student majoring in either a finance or business related degree
Previous internship/positions related to Equity Capital Markets/Investor Relations required. Applicants with professional references will be prioritized.
Strong proficiency in financial databases (e.g. Thomson Reuters Eikon, Factset, Bloomberg) as well as very strong MS Excel and Powerpoint skills
English-native or fluency required, other European languages a plus
Ability to work autonomously and with teams alike, under pressure with tight deadlines
Very strong multitasking, organization, writing and communication skills
Essential skills include attention to detail, rigor and a strong sense of accountability combined with a pragmatic approach
Ability to synthesize large amounts of information, demonstrated aptitude for analytics and the ability to transform quantitative findings into deep qualitative analysis

Conduct industry, market and company-specific research
Support sales representatives in preparing meeting and pitching materials, spanning the entire value chain
Support the team by contributing to the production of sales and market intelligence. This can range from analyzing the private funding ecosystem (Start-Ups, Scale-Ups, Private Equity, Venture Capital)
Involvement in the launch and development of new initiatives (targeting innovative Tech SMEs across Algeria, Family-owned businesses, etc…) and participation in the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports on market activity from a listing perspective
Take part in a project dedicated to the design, project management and roll-out of a dedicated offering and suite of strategic initiatives (with potential themes including ESG, ICOs/Blockchain, Real Estate..)

Directly reporting to the CEO, the Senior Financial Analyst will have full autonomy on the various investment projects he/she will be assigned to and more specifically his/her main responsibility will be to:
* Be responsible for identifying, create and develop a network of a specific target market; manage the budget related to communications and marketing activities towards this market in order to increase the deal flow
* Manage in full autonomy various investment projects (start-ups and scale-ups; from prospect to client) in order to evaluate their financial potential; valuation of companies from A to Z, definition of the required funding solutions, …
* Prepare and analyse of the most appropriate financial solution (loan / convertible loan / capital)
* Negotiate and draft the agreements / term sheet of projects in collaboration with the legal team
* Make recommendations regarding the analyzed investment projects and defend the findings in front of the Investment Committee
* Communicate effectively with key stakeholders (Executive Committee, Board of Directors, external contractors, …)

The Successful Applicant

Master in Business Engineering/Administration
Experience in Business Management, Financial Analysis, M&A; experience as an entrepreneur would be a strong plus
Excellent presentation skills
Openness, autonomy, curiosity and empathy are key
Fluent in French, Arabic with a strong command of English.
Team Player and a self-starter
Excellent command of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, knowledge of a CRM is a plus
